Is It Safe To Come Off Fentanyl Abruptly?
Question: is it safe to come off fentenyal 50 and 10/325 cold turkey when you have underlying health issues and steroid dependent s well or should I taper down but then the pain is still there ?also I have copd,scoloisis ostepirosis chronic pain from 3 failed back surgery fibromyalgia

You might have increased sympathetic tone (somewhat elevated heart rate, sweats, gooseflesh) and diarrhea.
You WILL have increased pain.
But these are very rarely fatal unless there is underlying heart disease.
However, there just isn't a good reason to do this alone!
There are several medications (non-narcotic, Non-addictive) that can seriously lower the symptoms of withdrawal (clonidine.. blocks stress hormone effects; various anti-nausea and anti-diarrheal medications). There are milder and safer alternatives like suboxone (a combination weak narcotic plus a blocker of additional narcotics.. it has a limit on the amount of narcotic effects you can possibly get with it.. giving more past a certain point doesn't really do any more).
