Brief Answer:
Abortion seems to be complete. You are safe

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns about remaining products of conception .

Following is my reply:

1. This appears like complete abortion. You are no longer pregnant. You are safe.

2. Since you had early pregnancy you will have less products and blood.

3. As of now you dont need any other test.

4. Get ultrasound scan done after one week as remaining blood clot would have come out and ultrasound image would be clear without blood clots.

5. The signs like breast tenderness you have mentioned take time to resolve and give them one week time to reduce.

I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
You can wait if you wish

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your gynecologist is better person to judge the situation.

Looking at your ultrasound scan report and your history I suggest you to wait for a week and then decide on D&E.It is not required so soon.

Pain you have in upper abdomen is due to uterus contracting and trying to push out remaining blood clot and remaining products.

I wish you all the best for procedure.

Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Cramps are due to tablet and uterine contractions

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Your bleeding has probably stopped as there are no more products remaining in uterus.

Pain and cramping is due to uterus trying to push out small blood clots and also residual effect of medicines you took for abortion.

You can get antispasmodic medicines prescribed for pain relief and reducing contractions.

D&E is not required.
