Is A Negative HIV Duo Test Result 100 Days After Exposure Conclusive?

Question: hi sir, I had unprotected sex with sex worker before 4 months... and I tested for HIV duo testafter 100days.. result came negative.. should I consider test result conclusive or I need to retest after 6 months.. is late conservation is possible?. and what is the maximum time to show test positive if late conversion possible?

It is safe now and negative results at this stage confirm that there has been no transmission of virus at all.
Just relax and in case still anxious then get a repeat test after 2 months from now so as to be doubly sure and feel relaxed

thanks madam.. surely I will go for next test after 2 months.. but my doubt is window period can extent upto 1 year madam?

No dear, window period is usually maximum till 4 months
and rarely 6 months so in my opinion I will take it as safe frimHIV now
