Is A TSH Reading Of 3.97 A Cause For Concern During Pregnancy?

default
Posted on Fri, 10 Jun 2016
Question: Doctor I am two months pregnant, in Dec’15 I had gone for thyroid test and it is observed that Thyroid stimulating hormone was 3.97.
My sister told that in first trimester TSH should be less than 2.5.
My doctor has not advised for any blood test. Is there any problem?
