Is Rabipur Injection Advisable After Being Bitten By A Dog?

Question: I have been bitten by a dog on 13.02.17. I have been taken two rabipure injection in my intraglteal on 14.02.17 and 21.02.17 and one in upper arms on 08.03.17. It will response or not and what should i do now.

Rabies is a lethal disease transmitted by the bite of infected mammals. Had the dog been rabid OR had the injections not been effective, you would have shown manifestations of rabies by now. Since that is not the case you can safely assume that either the dog was not rabid or the injections were effective. In either case you need not worry.

The dog was a street dog and it is still alive.
