Brief Answer:
good glycemic control on OHA

Detailed Answer:
Dear madam, hi and welcome to HCM!
Diabetes is either present or absent. there are no levels of diabetes. yes at the time of diagnosis, hba1c 9 is significantly high , suggesting long standing diabetes.
now with OHA , your sugars are under control. to find out the reserve of pancreas, you need to do HOMA IR studies.
and though you have not asked, i would give you an advise, rigorously follow, diet and exercise, go on reducing the dose of glycomet gp2 to glycomet gp1and may be change zita plus to zita plus met 20/1g. this will maintain your pancreas and beta cell resrve for long.
regards!
