I have seen the link provided. In Ascoril it is the expectorant Ambroxol which alone should not be used in high doses during pregnancy. Taking a single dose 5 ml is not likely to affect the baby in any way. Please do not worry. It is better to use herbal preparations like Honitus syrup or Kofnil syrup or warm saline gargles for relief.

but my ob gync doctor prescribed for 10ml 3times...what can i do now?shall i conitinue? is it safe?
