Hello;

Thanks for your query.

Your daughter had diarrhoea so your Paediatrician prescribed :-
- Econorm-which is Sccharomyces boulardii a non disease causing yeast used to treat various types of diarrhoea.
- OF (Ofloxacin) which is a fluoroquinolone group antibiotic use in gastrointestinal infection(diarrhoea).

Now she has not passed stools for reasons like:-
a-Dehydration resulting from all day long diarrhoea,
b-Reduced intake of food,
c-This sort of thing is a common reaction seen after treatment of diarrhoea.

As the diarrhoea has stopped you need to concentrate now on her food and hydration and she will be fine in a days time. She will start getting her regular bowels in some time so please do not worry.

Please continue the medications as advised and follow up with her Paediatrician as he has advised.

Hope you find this answer helpful. Let me know if you have any more queries.

Take care.
Warm regards
