Brief Answer:
Physical activities are the key, in most cases.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern.

It seems that you had a good metabolism because you never had weight problems in your life.

Actually, hypothyroidism can be a cause for weight gain or difficulty to lose weight.
In your case, this condition can be excluded because you have normal thyroid test results.

To answer your question, I need some more information.
-your height to calculate your actual BMI
-do you do physical activities every day? (if you have a passive life, you will have difficulty yo lose weight, even if you eat healthily.
-what kind of diets have you recently tried?
-how many calories do you take every day?

You are in perimenopause or menopause years. The hormone imbalance can produce stress, make you eat more or even slow your metabolism and the result is weight gain.
Do you have menopause symptoms?

Waiting for your response.

Best regards.
