Question: I took ovidrel 250 on Thursday December 12, and I had my IUI on December 14th. How long does ovidrel take to leave the body?When can I take a pregnancy test?

I was testing to see when the hcg from ovidrel wold leave my body from the wondfo brand up until 2 days ago it was faint and yesterday morning it was a bit darker and today it was barely visible. I tested from the first response test and the line is there. What does this mean?

Thanks for writing back.

The faint line in the test means that the hCG is present in little quantity. As I mentioned earlier the drug has a half-life of 23-35 hours or 29 +or - 6 hours and this means that half of the drug has left the body in this time. As some amount of the drug is still present after this time period, it can show up in the test.

To check for pregnancy, you have to wait for at least ten days after ovulation.
