Brief Answer:
Do you still have a fever?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully. It is highly unlikely that amoxicillin failed to treat a bacterial infection of the upper airways. If you are having a fever, kindly report the temperature to me. If you no longer have fever, it is understandable as these symptoms can last around longer even after the infection is controlled during the recovery phase.

Ley me hear from you on this before proposing a definitive response and helpful tips.

I have a very low fever of 99.6 degrees, if that can eben be considered a fever.

Brief Answer:
That's definitely not fever!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your temperature doesn't suggest a fever. May be you are taking longer than usual to recover which in itself is not so uncommon. I will suggest that you stay calm and monitor your daily temperature readings. Only values of more than 100F should get you concerned.

Healthy diet, increased fluids intake and regular exercise can make a difference in this recovery process. I wish you well and keep me [posted about this.
