I Have A Breathing Problem This Last Week Or So,

Question: I have a breathing problem this last week or so, whenever I eat raw fruits and vegetables. I burp alot and have great difficulty breathing. Can this be caused by a colon blockage?

I went for a walk about a week ago or so and had an attack where i couldnt breathe, no Im not taking anything. Its very humid so I cant get to the doctor easily. I need to know if this issue is going to heal(i think i could smell some slight blood after the attack)It seems to be getting only slightly better if I don’t eat fruits and vegetables, or might be a bacteria problem that will get worse(only small signs of this- coughing rare- had some bacteria in my esophagus though that washed down to my stomach with hot water) or if you think this is a digestive problem. I had some sugar issues before and after this although i haven’t been diagnosed as diabetic even after five blood tests. I’m losing a lot of weight and have almost no appetite but I'm getting more hungry, but cant eat anything that cause gas without having breathing problems.

My lungs feel sore, not that painful though.

Could I have a Gall Stone or something blocking my rectum, it seems difficult to pass gas like I might have a blockage there? But there is no pain during passing stools, and my stool are passing because my stools are soft(only once every 4-5 days), but when they pass they feel a bit like squeezing a tube of tooth paste out? Sometimes when I get gas I feel like I need to go to the bathroom but then it goes away.

I want to know all the things that could cause a blockage like this? Do you think if I have a partial blockage it would be enough to make it very hard to breathe?
Is there any other kind of scan other than a colonoscopy that might find it?

Brief Answer:
I think, you should get done ultrasound abdomen.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on icliniq.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, in my opinion, you should get done ultrasound abdomen and CT Abdomen.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for any blockage or obstruction.
If both these are normal then possibility of stress and anxiety related symptoms is more likely.
Please let me know if you have stressful life.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Could my blockage be caused by undigested grease due to the gallbladder being inflamed?

Can you explain to me if possible how an inflamed gallbladder could cause all this gas. I saw on a website a inflamed gallbladder can cause excessive gas.

I don't consume alot of grease, the only grease could be from losing weight 40-50 lbs stretched over 6-7 mos, i was 230 and am now more like 180. Is possible that grease is whats blocking my colon and causing all the burping and shortness of breath.

Sorry for late reply as I was busy.
Don't worry about blockage because you are not having blockage.
Blockage causes different symptoms.
So don't think or worry about blockage.

My heart rate was increasing I think due to a bacteria issue in my esophogus and stomach area maybe. Wound up in the hospital and got an IV of just salt water. Which seemed to calm my heart rate and lower my bacteria problem some. They wouldnt give me any antibiotics since I dont have diahrea.

My question is, can bacteria dehydrate you and cause you to not pass stools very often possibly?

Bacteria will mess with your blood glucose I assume which is one of the symptoms Im having. My esophogus felt agitated and swollen might have been causing some of my breathing issues.

Also, they wont test me for bacteria, they say I have to have an endoscopy just to do the biopsy and test for bacteria. I just feel like they are trying to get out of giving me any anti biotics.

Don't stool tests work to test for bacteria?
Im wondering if I could have gotten something from fertilizer on fresh vegetables or maybe the water. I changed my eating habits some and seem to be getting a little better.

So the questions were.
Can bacteria dehydrate you and cause you to not pass stools very often possibly?
Don't stool or breath tests work to test for bacteria? I don't see why they need to do an endoscopy just to find out if I need antibiotics.

No, bacteria can understand your not dehydrate you.
Infact bacterial infection in intestine causes diarrhoea, not blockage of stool.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
