Brief Answer:
Start with the minimal dose...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking to HCM!

I read your query and understood your concerns. You are taking betablockers and diltiazem which is a combination of two drugs that affect heart rate. Interaction may occur which may cause bradycardia, faint and heart blocks.

I would suggest to switch to Bystolic with the minimal starting dose (half of 5mg pill) and raise the dose every 10 days till the wanted effect is achieved. This way interactions between bystolic and diltiazem is avoided.

Please note that any change in the medications you are taking should be done under the care and guidance of your prescribing doctor. I'm just giving you and idea of how the switch could be achieved

Hope this was of help!
