Brief Answer:
The dizziness could be due to dehydration.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
Dizziness in flu usually results from dehydration. Therefore, it is important to maintain adequate fluid intake during flu. Dehydration can result from inability to tolerate fluids due to nausea and vomiting and fluid loss related to increased sweating during fevers.
I recommend you the following.
1) Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
2) Antiemetic medication like tablet domperidone for nausea.
3) Avoid spicy foods.
4) Avoid coffee and tea.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Wish you a speedy recovery and good health.

Regards,
Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS
