How To Determine The Paternity Of The Fetus?

default
Posted on Thu, 24 Dec 2015
Question: Please help having problems with cycle and im not proud of this but I'm pregnant and not sure who the dad is. My period started January 10th. I was expecting my period February 2nd or 1st on February 2nd I took 4 pregnancy test at about noon. I got 4 positives the first guy I slept with was January 18th and 20th. He did ejaculate in me. The second guy was January 23rd 24th. He did not finish in me so his chances are slimmer but it only takes one. As I was saying about my period that's a 23 day cycle meaning I ovulate around day 9. Which means I probably conceived 18-21st. Is that right. Anything later really shortens my lethal phase. I know DNA test is the only way to know 100%. But based off what I know and just sure number of sperm. It must be guy number 1 most likely? I know no one can tell me the father its just impossible with days so close but of I had ovulated on the 19th like I should have there is a very slim chance its guy number 2. He is helping me with the whole process, if its probably not his I dont feel right putting this responsibility on him.

Brief Answer:
most probably first guy to be the father

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your whole picture and understood your concerns.

Taking into account your period lasts 23 days and last time it started 10 January, your most fertile days were between 17 and 21 January.

If the first guy ejaculated on 18 and 20 January, and considering sperm lives for up to 5 days inside woman's womb, then he has high chances to be the father of your baby.

Furthermore, the other guy could not finish to ejaculate, so he can't be the father.

As you say, dna testing will determine the father at the end. But you should wait until your baby is born.

Good luck to you and your baby!

Thank you. The second guy has held up more than he should have and its not fair for me to take his help if its probably not his, its going to break his heart, but at least I can give him an answer that I'm 90% sure of.

Brief Answer:
Thank you for choosing to be fair...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

Thank you for being fair. A broken heart now will save a broken life forever.

For the moment , it is for 90% certain that first guy is the father.

When the baby is born, you can confirm it 100% through dna testing.

All the best!

Thank you again doctor, at first I thought it was a miracle as the conception date at 6 weeks and 4 days was January 25th. But when they did it again a couple weeks later they said I was further along than what they thought by a week. Then when I told them my cycle it confirmed it that I basically got pregnant a few days after bleeding. He accepted the child and has grown to love it. More than what the first guy has done. I'll just have to tell him and if the DNA test confirm it then its his choice as for being a father to the child. Thank you doctor again.

Brief Answer:
Ok,hope both of you will go for the best decision....

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

Sorry for the late reply due to my offline-clinic work.

Now, if the second guy loves your baby as his own, then, this is his decision and is very kind of him. This demonstrates that he really loves you.

If he wants the DNA testing to run, then, go ahead. But enjoy the lovely moments with him and your baby.

Thank you again for being fair.
Good luck and God bless!
