Brief Answer: You may send a picture Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX and welcome to health care magic, The hymen is a structure that partially covers the vaginal opening. It looks just like the labia minora. It is not normally possible to introduce 2 fingers in the vagina if the hymen is present. So if it is possible to introduce 2 fingers, most of the time the hymen is ruptured. Having said that, this is not a most reliable test as conditions like lax hymen, wide vaginal opening etc will also give a positive test. Also hymen may be torn by a fall, vaginal examination by doctor, insertion of tampon or exercise of perineal muscles like cycling running etc. Tearing may cause bleeding and pain but again this is not a rule. So please do not worry. Check if any of these happened. You can check it by a two finger test or by inspection of the labia after separating them. Usually the opening is narrow and will not allow a finger to go inside as it will hurt. You can always upload photos that I may be able to view and comment. Please separate the labia and then take snaps for better visualisation. If I cannot comment by pictures, you may need to see a doctor for confirmation. Do not worry. These are common issues. It can happen to anyone. And you do not even know that it has happened. Being a female myself I can very well understand how you feel. Hope I was able to help you. Thanks for the query. Brief Answer: Hymen appears intact. Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX The pictures show that most likely the hymen is intact. So please do not worry. I am however not sure about what is the small lump [ tiny one ] on the left labia minora just outside or at the edge of the hymenal ring. Was there any trauma or a infection? However the hymen appears intact. Hope I was able to help you. Please feel free to ask any more queries. Take care. Dr Madhuri Bagde

Brief Answer: I cannot guarantee from photo. Detailed Answer: Welcome back, I am extremely sorry to hear that. You have undergone a lot. The hymen appears to be intact from the photo. However it is not possible to say about it with absolute sureity as I have not examined you. You will need an examination for that. Even after examination admission of two fingers does not always mean a torn hymen as I have already explained. But please remember that intactness of hymen does not guarantee. I have already said that hymen can get torn due to many reasons. Please do not worry. It seems pretty intact from the photo. I wish you a happy married life. Do not let such things affect you. Please feel free to ask any more queries and I am here to help. Dr Madhuri
