How Long Should Rabies Vaccination To Be Taken?

Question: clearly i want to ask many confusion about rabies with serial .sir i had bite by a stray dog at 20/8/2014 so i take a vaccine abhyarab after that i hear in news in XXXXXXX that their is some problem in that vaccine so i restart the schedule with rabipur date 23/8/2014 is my first vaccine 2nd vaccine at 26/8/2014 and third vaccine at 30/8/2014 but at 31/8/2014 night i again bite by a stray dog but some doctor say that continue your schedule and dont restart is this correct sir can i restart or complete my old schedule < ques 2.> so sir i take four vaccine in 12 days is their is any bad effect on health or sir can it decrease the antibody or strength of vaccine i want also discuss that sir at 21/8/2014 before my first rabipur vaccine i met a doctor he give me medicine name as clonazepam tablet 0.25,setraline tablet i also take cobadexforte,liv 52 ds,hepamerz tablet due to increase in bilirubin of my liver sir is this all medicine can interact my rabipur vaccine. which i take, can it decrease the strength or antibody of vaccine in my body please advice me sir and say which type of medicine and diet interact with rabipur vaccine which i take sir i take my third rabipur vaccine after one hour out of fridge due to that have any effect on antybody, efficiency or strength of vaccine please advice me sirmy new rabipur schedule is ist23aug,2nd 26august,3rd 30august but i again bite at 31august so i ask some doctor they said follow old schedule so i wana clear that sir my 4th vaccine is at 6 sep and 5th vaccine is at 20sep sir i want to ask under my 5th vaccine 20sep if bite number of time means under 20sep i again bite by a dog as example 12september,15september or 16september now that time what can i do follow old schedule of 1st vaccine 23august to last 5th vaccine 20september or restart new schedule after bite again in under date 20september which is my last dose

For your first question my answer is , there is no need to restart the Vaccination from again. You can simply continue the course started on 23/8/14 with Rabipur.

Your Second question : There is no interaction between the medicines you are taking and the rabipur vaccine and also the strength of vaccine doesn't come down due to one extra dose of vaccine . Also there is no diet restriction for a patient who is on Rabipur vaccine .

Any further bites before you complete your last dose of vaccine doesn't require any new vaccine course .

hello sir please advice me in briefly iam very worry about this so i ask so many question in following point 1.first off all i want to say that after receiving my first
vaccine on 21/8/2014 is abhyarab after the bitten by dog 0n 20/8/2014 but listining in news that their is problem in abhyarab so i restart with rabipur
vaccine 0n 23/8/2014 and exclude abhyarab and i take 2nd dose at 26/8/2014 and third dose on 30/8/2014 but sir their is again bite by a dog on 31/8/2014 night
so i ask some doctor they told just complete your dose no need to restart again before your lsat dose on 20/9/2014
but sir again i scratch by a stary dog 3/20/2014 what can i do resart the schedule or take my 4th dose imidiately at before of original date which on 6/9/2014
now what can i do sir told me one more thing if the vaccine schedule start as per 0,3,7,14,28 under this day of vaccine schedule if the dog bite daily or more than 15days
then what can we have to do retsart or follow the original schedule and also after my 4th vaccine which is on 6/9/2014
if adog bite suppose any like 7/9/2014,8/9/2014,9/9/2014.....upto my last dose that is 20/9/2014
then what can i do that time take extra dose or follow the original schedule that is 23/8/2014 ist dose 26/8/2014 ,2nd dose 30/8/2014 that is my third dose and
remaining dose is on 6/9/2014 and 20/9/2014
2. question is when i take abhyarab that due to other problem i met a neuro doctor he gave me medicine name as clonazepam tablet 0.25,clonazepam tablet,setraline tablet 100,
i also checked my blood, liver etc so bilirubin of my liver is increase so he gave me medicine name as hepamerz,liv 52 ds,cobadexforte
all these medicine i eat along with my rabipur vaccine schedule that is from 23aug to 20sep
now sir i want to ask that some medicine is interact with rabipur vaccine now told me sir is this medicine that i take is interact with my rabipur vaccine,
is this medicine decrease or weak strength of antybody of vaccine oris this medicine decrease the efficiency of vaccine told me sir
because i hear some medicine like corticosteroids,immunosuppressant ,vitamin and etc are interact or decrease the antybody or strenth in that human
sir i have great worry about this that corticosteroids,immunosuppressant now i want ask both are use in neuro type doctor of medicine and.
ialso use a medicine that is provide by a i also met a neuro doctor.
now i am worry about that is this medicine is differ or similar then how differ please advice me sir and i also
use cobadex that is vitamin i hear that also interact now what can i do continue my medicine with rabipur vaccine or to stop them until end my last vaccine 20/9/2014
3.sir after complete my last dose 20/9/2014 please tell me the minimum day that i have not to take any rabies vaccine even a rabid dog bite me
4.sir may i take three rabies vaccine each month for immunisation my body or not it give harmful effect on my body because here i live many stray dog wandering here and there sir say what i have to do now please

I have clearly mentioned that there is no need to start any new course of Rabies Vaccine . Just finish the one you started on 23rd . Upto your last dose of vaccine any number of dog bites doesn't warrant another new course of Vaccination.

Yes immuno suppressants, Corticosteroids do reduce the efficacy of Vaccine but not vitamins . You are neither on immuno suppressants nor Corticosteroids. So don't worry about any interactions.

After your last dose of vaccination any further dog bites you need to get repeat vaccines 2 shots. One immediately and the other after 3 days .

Monthly immunization for rabies is not recommended . If you want to be over cautious then you can get Booster dose once every 2 years .

5.tell me about 2years safety rabies vaccine and schedule name of that vaccine
6.when i take my third anty rabies vaccie their is late about 45 min approx have any effect on vaccine
have it decrease the strenth of vaccine
7.while taking my third vaccine their is few drop left on the tip of bottle have it effect eeficiency of vaccine
8.while starting with abhyarab due some problem i xclude that so i restart with rabipur is it effect on body is it decrese the efficiency vaccine by cancel each other because i 12 days i take four vaccine is it harmful or good

A booster dose of Rabies vaccine is recommended if there is high possibility of Rabies exposure. It has to be taken One shot every 2 years. A delay for few minutes to hours will not affect the efficacy of vaccination.

Little wastage while injection is common, don't worry it won't cause any loss of effectiveness of vaccine.

There is no additional thing you need to do as precaution program vaccine. Take One shot of rabipur every 2 years if there is high chance of Rabies in your area.

Any further dog bites any completing your present course you need to get repeat vaccines 2 shots. One immediately and the other after 3 days.

All said and done, try to avoid getting bitten by dogs. That's the best precaution you can get.

Everything that has been done is proper . There is nothing wrong that can happen .

No reduction in efficacy of rabipur due to any reason.

Till you finish your last dose, you get bitten by a dog, there is no need, no need for any fresh vaccination. Kindly follow my advice clearly.
