Question: Mam just want to know in simple words that if some one is unknown of the fact there is virus of rabies in his body and he haven't developed any sypmtoms and he's unaware of that!!and he takes 0 3 7 vaccine after a vaccinated dog bite and dog remain heathy 85 days ago so from this bite nothing to worry but if there is presence of any virus in the body from past not from this bite then will these three vaccine will provide any immunity antibody for past?or something else required!!as mam I haven't developed any syptoms but I feared a lot if something happen then what!!mam I just want to make sure that my blood always have antibody particularly for this infection?and in future I don't play with any dog!!
Mam my doctor told me that as my post exposure work as pre exposure because of the dog is not rabid and this RVnab antibody will remain in my blood for at least 5 years before any exposure and will cover me for 5 years??and there will be no chance of rabies infection for 5 years atleast if from now no exposure occur is he right?

Brief Answer:
You need not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

I would like to keep it simple. If you had previous dog bite and dog is normal you need not worry as you cannot do anything for past and no chance of risk as dog is fine.
Now coming to your present problem. Yes your doctor is correct. You are protected adequately. You must not worry but if dog bites you and you take 3 doses of vaccinations is enough.
I see no reason to worry. If there are any previous virus as you think then yes the antibodies will neutralize them. And you are safe.

Hope I answered your query

Mam I have also taken 4 dose on 52 day as I was anxious to increase my antibody!!as these four doses are enough to protect me as they work preexposure for me and to maintain Same antibody level in my blood when I next dose?as I just always want to maintain same antibody level in my blood for protection as it always help and save me if there is any chance of previous virus if I m unknown to it if?
Mam my past and present reasons are so baseless that if iam in my completely relaxed of mind then I havent had a single vaccine as I was anxious just because I read about that on net and book

Brief Answer:
Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I would request you not to worry as you have no threat of rabies. I found that you have taken sufficient vaccine and to boost immunological response you can take one vaccine at 90 days. There is no protective levels of antibodies for rabies. You can get PRNT test to detect antibodies level for your mental satisfaction. Each time a dog bites one has to get vaccinations done.

Best of health
