Brief Answer:
Depends on infection and treatment offered.

Detailed Answer:
Hello there ,
Nice to meet you ,
The recovery period in sepsis depends upon the virulence of infective pathogen and treatment offered against it.

So, it varies from few days to months. I could be more precise if you explain which drugs and infective organisms are involved. This will be available in your prescription and culture sensitivity(Culture and sensitivity is an very good tool in effective management and early recovery).

So follow up with the information, which makes me to aid you better.

Take care.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back,
Thanks for your information,

The drugs you have been started acts on both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and has wide spectrum of anti-bacterial action.
Most of the infections subsides with this antibiotics within the period of 7 days. If you still had symptoms like temperature, mild analgesics like Tylenol can be used along with this antibiotics.

As I said already, doing culture and sensitivity is advised for appropriate treatment. Do have a word about this with your treating physician.
Hope helped you,
