Question: I took 2 prednisone tabs 2 days in a row, now I have mild rash on cheeks, have stopped the med.
How long should the rash last, when will usually go away

I am so sorry to hear of this rash that you had following the consumption of prednisolone. From the information you have provided, this seem to have been an allergic reaction to the prednisolone.

Though this is not typical of prednisolone, rash following a drug allergy generally decreases and gets completely resolved by within 7days. I will recommend that you patiently wait for at least a week before getting too worried. However, if there is no worsening but a gradual healing, it is not a call for you to see more aggressive medical interventions.

In all, expect significant regression within 7days. Tell your doctors in future about this allergic reaction that you experienced so that they can avoid prescribing this drug if possible. Exercise enough patience is healing is slower but progressively better.
