How Long Does Marijuana Stay In The System?

Question: Hello, I use usually 1.7 to almost 2 grams daily for ruffly 5 months. I use marijuana to control my nerves. I was just informed that all amateur fighters will now half to pass for thx under 50ng. So the raw facts in dealing with is I've given myself 16 straight days of absolutely no marijuana till my test. I'm in ok shape, strictly cause I'm in my off time. I'm 6'0 183 and 35 years of age. I naturally drink plenty of water but my diet has been less than ideal given the fact most fighters splurge a little between fights. I'm very aware there's no way to flush my system and I'm not interested in doing that cause diuretics are also considered a banned substance. I just wanna know how if I'm gonna be close to lowering down to the commission standard within that period of time. I would gratefully appreciate any incite you can give me. I also know I smoke low grade marijuana and the rating on the package is total thx percent is 18.7 ,cbd 0.1 per gram if that helps. Thank you. And once again in not wanting to flush or mask just to be clean as naturally as possible

Thank you relying so quickly. It will be just a basic urine from the local clinic in assume the same as like a pre employment screen. Last time I smoked was Saturday the 12th of march 11days ago. Amout was 1 gram that's it. Prior to the 12th was close to 2 grams daily for the last 4 months. Potency of marijuana was 21.2 percent THC. I've have disclosed my use to the commission and they were the ones that told me the only care that I'm under 50ng. So to summon it up. Last intake was the 12th , 1 gram at 21.2 THC, UA test and prior to the 12th 11 days ago it was daily use 4 months at 2 grams a day. I didn't note that the first 2 months of the 4 month use I was in training camp so my workout regiment was very intense. Last 2 months I haven't done anything due to a bad back injury. I don't know if that info helped or if relevant but I figured I would give u strict details of my use and my lifestyle in fitness plus lack of fitness last 2 months. But my last intake of 1 gram is a pre roll joint.

50ng/ml is routine threshold level for marijuana urine screening test. Considering your last 4 months daily intake THC can be detected up to maximum 2 weeks while THC metabolites up to 4-5 weeks.
If test will be applied only for THC you are going to pass the test naturally but in case of THC metabolites detection chances of passing the test is less likely.

What's the difference between THC and THC metabolites is there a difference on how they leave your body? How does one know which one they will be testing for?

Thanks for asking your doubts. Again sorry for delayed response.

Marijuana converted in to an active metaboite called tetrahydrocannabinol and non active metabolite THC-COOH.
Very small portion of marijuana can be detected in urine which is not metabolized so it cannot be dtected more than 7 days even in chronic user.
Urine tests do not detect the psychoactive component in marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol, rather they detect the non-psychoactive marijuana metabolite THC-COOH, which can linger in the body for days and weeks with no impairing effects. Because of THC-COOH's unusually long elimination time, urine tests are more sensitive to marijuana than other commonly used drugs.

Most of the lab uses THC-COOH tests however only lab knows what will they test.

Hey doctor I'm back with a little info. My test got pushed back to the next Monday so that's a total of 23 days completely clean no use at all. I took 4 home test passed all with a solid line even though they say a faint line means you passed. So my follow up question is prior we were at 16 days now I'll be over 3 weeks completely no use. Is that a decent amount of time to be clean under 50ng. I know I took the home tests and passed but I'm just asking you if the new time table is more likely to be under 50ng

You are lucky that you got more time. Now there is more than 3 weeks duration between last intake and testing day. You have also passed home tests. Considering overall history you are going to pass the test likely and it will be under 50ng.
