How Can Painful Blisters On The Hands And Wrists Be Treated?

default
Posted on Thu, 29 Dec 2016
Question: I had large, painful blisters pop up on my hands, wrists and a few on my lower arms. My arms and legs swelled till I thought my skin might pop. Swelling has gone done and blisters have drained. I'm actually healing great as far as all that goes. My left hand is doing much better than the right. I have pretty much all feeling back in my hand and fingers on the left. The only one that is causing me trouble is my pinky and that side of my palm where the blisters were concentrated on the left hand. The right hand was absolutely covered in blisters so the feeling hasn't returned to everything on that hand. I also do not yet have control of my hand. Where the blisters were is very painful. I literally went to bed one night and woke up the next day like this. I was very stressed but that's about all I can think of that was different than any other day

Brief Answer:
I think you had a severe allergy to something you handled.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM,

I think you had a severe allergy to something you handled. Can you upload the photo of the lesions so that I am better able to help.
Luckily it is improving.
Please check on what all you have handled/used recently.
Also add a tablet of B complex with vitamin C and Zinc for a fortnight.
If it recurs, it would not be a bad idea to add a liver tonic. It has helped in many of my patients.
It is not due to stress.
Regards
