Question: My wife is complaining of back pain below kidneys; her feet are swelling as well as her arms and hands; she has a slight cough; has difficulty breathing especially after exertion; her face is red and her face seems to be swelling as well.

After going through her medical details, I would like to inform you that the symptoms of your wife could be due to cardiac or kidney problem so both have to be evaluated.
I would like to suggest you to personally consult a cardiologist as well as a nephrologist and kindly get an Ultrasound of the kidneys and an Echocardiography done.
Also, please let me know what all medications she is on presently.
