Question: Hi I’m not sure where to start. For the past few months I have been waking up every morning drenched in sweat but cold and I feel nauseous but don’t get sick I just have to use the bathroom atleast 2-3 times every morning. I’ve taken a pregnancy test but was negative and I am on depo. This happens every morning and I just need some answers. I’ve had my thyroid tested and that was good.

Brief Answer:
Detailed evaluation is required.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The most common cause excessive swearing is thyroid dysfunction but in your case thyroid function test is normal.
Do you experience any anxiety related issues? Because certain forms of anxiety can cause similar symptoms.
Do you experience any fever spikes or evening rise of temperature? History of any hormonal imbalances or long term use of contraceptive pills?
Make sure that your blood sugar level is normal because hypoglycaemia can present like this. Other hormonal imbalances are also be ruled out.
I also suggest you to go for a urine culture because chronic subclinical urinary tract infection may mimic similar symptoms.
Waiting for your response.

Thank you. I will try to get in to get that done. I have been on birth control since January of 2019 it could be hormonal but ok history. I haven’t had anxiety before. My temperature does change a lot I’m usually pretty cold but break out in random sweats.
