Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms. XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM.

I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information.

Firstly, weight changes and hormone imbalance are inter-related situations. Though, PCOD is often corrected following a pregnancy owing to the prolonged progesterone effect, it is not a dictum.

In the current scenario, I would ask you to see a gynecologist for further evaluation, including a complete clinical examination, hormonal essay and a trans-vaginal sonogram if possible. Further management can be planned accordingly.

Meanwhile, you have to adopt a healthy lifestyle and maintain your weight within normal range.

Please remember that stress, use of certain medications can also cause weight changes. Yet, there is no need to worry because you have a treatable condition.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Shanti.V.
