Hello, I Have Had Breathing Issues And Lots Of Phlegm
Question: Hello, I have had breathing issues and lots of phlegm since being tear gassed 3 weeks ago. I want to know if there's anything I can do and if this is likely to improve. I am also fatigued even after sleeping 10+ hours. (this is my original question)
Now I am primarily fatigued even after plenty of sleep. Just wondering if there are other possible causes related to being tear gassed. I am also working with my thyroid doctor to address that. Dr. XXXXXXX Bhavsar recommended I see a pulmonologist for a PFT and x-ray. The doctor I went do did a PFT and it was fine. I have images of this report if it is helpful, but not sure if I can attach it anywhere in this system.

I can understand your concern
As you explain the situation and it seems to me to be a hypersensibility ( allergic) situation. Your PFT results are completely normal. Chest X-ray is not attached here but it will be mostly normal. However please attach it here too.
Fatigue of the above is normal is not related to lung problems. Probably thyroid function is the main cause in such conditions.
If also thyroid function is normal than some allergic tests are needed such as PRICK TESTS and Pneumoalergens. You can attach their results here and I can help you again.
