Brief Answer:
Child seems having high grade fever.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

The child seems having infection mostly with a virus.

Cold hands, shivering lips, and hot body is due to fever.

Check his body temperature by using a clinical thermometer.

For fever you can give paracetamol syrup in prescribed dose every 6th or 8th hourly depending on the presence of fever.

If the body temperature is more than 102 degree F you can do tepid sponging of his body with lukewarm water till the temperature comes down.

Give plenty of oral fluids to drink.

Consult the pediatrician for physical examination to look for the focus of infection and to advise the specific treatment for it.

Hope I have answered your query, if you have any clarification please let me know.

Regards.
