Hello,

Thank you for your query.

A lump at the forehead with some pigmentation has various causes.
Sebaceous cyst is the most possible cause.
Forehead is one of the common sites for sebaceous cyst.
It is slowly progressing & may have a punctum in its central.
The cyst contains sebum due to blockage of the secreting duct.
Consistency may be soft to firm.

But other causes should be considered also.

Fat containing tumors (lipoma), dermoid cyst are the other possibilities.
If the surface becomes irregular, color changes, size increases & start to discharging then you will alert.

These features are consistent with malignant melanoma which is a one type of skin tumor.

It is better for you to consult your doctor.

Examination of the lump is essential.

I hope, I was of some help here.

Please write if you have any doubt.
Take care.
