Brief Answer:
does not sound serious----------------------------

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to the forum.
The discomfort may be related to the urinary tract or the bowel.
If there are bowel symptoms like loose stools or constipation, it needs attention.
Occasional urinary frequency at night needs no attention.
If the frequency is more at night or day time on a regular basis, clinical examination followed by tests based on the examination results is mandatory.
Otherwise, antispasmodics- medicines to relieve muscle spasm- should relieve the pain.
Hope this guidance helps you.
