Question: GENERAL PHYSICIAN
Dear Doctor, I have a very genuine question which i request you to kindly advise.I am 78 year old .I have been taking Glycomet Sr 500 mg , Amtas 10 mg
Betcard 50 mg ,Atorva 10 mg , Deplatt and Thyronorm 50 mcg since many years. My cardiologist prescribed Deplatt in 2017.He dropped Ismo 10 mg and added this. Iam perfectly alright with all these medicines and there are no side effects. Everyone is working well.My diabetes , Hypertension and thyroid all are within the normal levels. I am not experiencing any other condition with these medicines. My doubt is even when these medicines are working well , do i have to approach my cardiologist or physician and ask for any change of medication or dosage as 3 years have passed already orf not necessary.

Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

After going through the details provided by you I can understand your concern about your health and I would like to tell you that if all your tests are coming normal, then it suggests the medicines are working well for you.

It’s not advisable to change or stop the meds if you don’t have any issues and the reports are normal.

But keep monitoring your blood pressure and sugars at regular intervals and health checkup yearly.

Kind Regards
