Question: For the last several weeks my blood pressure and heart rate has been fluctuating. I have had high blood pressure for over 20 years but 2 weeks ago I had what they determined to be a TIA and since this time my blood pressure and heart rate has been high at times and then very low back and forth. I also have periodic shortness of breath along with total exhaustion. Sometime my right side goes numb, including arm, leg and face

Brief Answer:
Do an EKG!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

These symptoms seem to raise the possibility of a problem with your heart rhythm. This is commonly referred to arrhythmias. I will suggest that you see a cardiologist and do an ECG to see what is happening here. This to me will be the perfect place to start from.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be. Let me know how this test turns out to be, please.
