Question: Feeling out of breath and exhausted all the time. my doctor recently changed my thyroid meds to levothyroxine. i am also taking a new blood pressure med.

Hello,

feeling breathless can be a serious symptom and requires investigation. Respiratory tract and cardiovascular disorders are usually implicated. Anemia is another potential cause. Your doctor should check your lung and heart functionality and run some blood tests to exclude various disorders. I do not believe that your thyroid is the cause since your doctor recently reviewed your medication. A very high TSH level may be indicative of hypothyroidism though (and may cause exhaustion).

Other lung and heart-related symptoms may include wheezing, swollen legs, dyspnea on exertion, etc.

Finally, blood pressure medications can sometimes cause these symptoms (as side effects). Beta-blockers are particularly prone to causing such symptoms. You haven't mentioned the drugs you're using. It might have helped me...
