Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
First of all, you have not mentioned your age or any comorbidities like hypertension or diabetes. Kindly give me those information so that I can tell you further on this.
Now vitamin D deficiency can cause joint pain and body ache. Hence I would suggest you to take vitamin D3 supplements as 60000Unit tab or cap weekly for 8 weeks as I suggest to other patients.
Your gastric problems can be taken care by antacids or pantoprazole.
I would also suggest a standing AP and Lateral Xray of both knee and uric acid tests. Plus as you took antitubercular drugs for 6 months, it is better to get a Liver function test done, though not mandatory.

You can consult your treating doctor or house physician about this and for prescription of the above.

Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards

Brief Answer:
follow as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for helping me with your reports.
I have gone through them and found alterations in only two parameters-
1. Increased IgE levels for which your doctor has given you antiallergic medication. That should take care of it.
2. Grossly decreased VitD3 levels. For this also, your doctor has given you medicine and I also suggested the same. Take vitamin D3 supplement once weekly for 8 weeks and then once monthly for another 4 months i.e. a total of 6 months duration. It is as per the international guidelines. After completing the full course, get a repeat VitD3 levels in blood checked.

Your knee pain can be due to only this vitamin D3 deficiency as uric acid levels are normal. Also, ESR is normal so chances of any infections including tuberculosis is unlikely. Also, get an Xray knee as suggested to rule out any bony abnormalities and arthritis.

Hope this was useful.
Regards.
