Does Usage Of Detox Kit Decrease The Efficacy Of Nexplanon?

Question: My girlfriend is on nexplanon, and has been for about 6 months, we havent had any issue/accidents. And nor do we want any. Hense the whole reason she had nexplanon inserted. I tend to worry drastically over almost anything still and i was curious if a detox kit or a body clense sold at supplement stores could make her nexplanon less affective. Shes been taking it since monday and today she ate some ice cream for her "cheat meal" (shes very fit and healthy) and the ice cream made her theow up. Do we have something to worry about please reply asap thank you for your time

Taking a detox kit or body cleanse does not decrease the efficacy of Nexplanon since it acts in multiple ways to prevent pregnancy. The throwing up after taking ice cream can be due to gastric reasons or side effects of detox kit also.
You need not worry. Nexplanon is still effective as a contraceptive even if she is taking detox kit.

These are the supplement facts if you could please look at them. Im not saying your wrong but i just want you to see exatly what she is taking. We really dont want accidents at all that is why we had her get on the best birth control we knew about if you know another form that is better please let me know

Detox kit is a supplement with many ingredients and its exact composition is not mentioned. Such herbal products do not usually interfere Nexplanon. Its efficacy in preventing pregnancy is more than 98%. Another alternative is mirena coil which shows least interactions with any of other medications. It has to be inserted in the uterine cavity.
