Question: yes do a persons large colon have stool in it all the time?

Brief Answer:
NO

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

There is not always stool in the large intestine. It accumulates there and moves down into the rectum for storage and evacuation. If stool should always be in the colons, there could be a problem with motility because the tendency of the intestines is to move everything further down to the outside. Did anyone suggest there is always food in your intestines?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

I want to opt out because I'm not very good on a computer please stop monthly fee of $15.00 I just don't know what to do I don't eat very much egg turkey sand witch with some potato's about noon and something small in the evening
I haven't had a bowel movement for 5 day's, I don't feel constipated but, I feel kind of hungry but, but the last week I feel that way even after I eat.
I'm kind of panicked, because of the way I feel . I had all kinds of test in 2014 and nothing has helped, most of the time I have to do an enema to get the stool out , this has worked ok but, right now their is noyhing in mu large colon what do you think?

Brief Answer:
If you don't eat, you will not get any stool!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for this follow up questions.

We only get to stool when we eat. If you have failed to eat, then I will say go ahead and eat and this explains why there is no stool in the colon. Eating food rich in fibers, vegetables etc will help produce bulk and allow for enough stool to be formed in the intestines.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more help.

Yes it dose help me, I just don't understand why I feel hungry 30 min, after I eat no mater how much I eat.
What kind of a safe solution can I make for getting the block out when I do have stool in lower colon, & feels like I need to have a bowel movement? I have been using filtered water, is this OK?

Brief Answer:
Filtered wate is okay!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Filtered water is okay. There is no reason to get worried about this. If you feel hungry, then you did not eat enough. I Will suggest that you go ahead and eat again. Do not restrain yourself unless something else happens.

Keep me updated. I wish you well. I am happy to address any further concerns with me.
