The fetal cardiac monitor can detect if there is a tight loop of cord around the baby's neck during delivery. The tight loop will cause a baby's distress during the contractions and the descent of the baby. This will show as a decrease in the fetal cardiac activity on the fetal monitor.

Sorry for not responding sooner Your answer was very helpful. Hospital provided with wheat I believe is the record of the heart monitoring. About fifty pages. Can you recommend any facility or person who can interpret them. Have been told they are normal.
