Question: I am having a lot of sweating taking celecoxib for my arthritis...take 400 mg. per day and also take hydrocopap 325 mgl. perdday...could this be causing my sweating

Well, yes the anti inflammatory drugs /analgesics can cause sweating as they lower the body temperature. Sweating is a compensatory response to it to maintain the body temperature to normal. It is due to celecoxib itself. You can reduce the dose to 200 mg and see if the symptoms improve. Or if it is too much of a discomfort we can stop it as well. Incase sweating still persists after stopping it, we may need to look at other causes
