Brief Answer:
Can be due to indigestion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Mild pain in the lower abdomen during early pregnancy can be due to gas and indigestion constipation mild urine infection or due to stretching of the ligaments due to growing size of the uterus. Such mild pain is not worrisome. it usually subsides on its own. in case the pain is persistent or is gradually increasing then proper investigations are needed to find the exact cause. Do avoid hot and spicy foods and increase the fluid intake to combat constipation.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Can be implantation bleeding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
A mild brown discharge in early pregnancy- before 5 weeks can be due to an implantation bleeding and is not worrisome. But if the bleeding is persistent then you need to consult her gynecologist for an ultrasound scan to confirm the fetal heart beat.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Hello Doctor,
Thank you for detailed reply.

Are there any methods or precautions we can follow to reduce or stop this bleeding?

Are there any specific foods or any exercises you would suggest?

Brief Answer:
Medicines are needed to stop bleeding.

Detailed Answer:
If the bleeding is still continuing after two days then it is worrisome and will need proper medicines to stop the bleeding. Threatened abortion also needs to be ruled out. Any food cannot help to decrease the bleeding. Exercise is not recommended now. Do take absolute rest to avoid any more bleeding.
Regards.
