Does Humid Climate Have Any Effect On Hashimoto's Disease?
Question: WOULD YOU BE SO KIND TO HELP ME?
I cannot to find how does humid weather effect people with hashimotos disease?
In my town humidity is high,
But I have to go to Egypt ,and to be there many months...
Dry air and hot and sun all the time...how does can effect on my Hashimoto?
I started to use Eutirox before few months after i am using nothing else from medicaments
Last dose was 62,5 microgram. (2x25+1/2 tablets),
BUT NOW I HAVE GOT AST AND ALT ENZIMES TOO HIGH,
AND BEFORE WAS PERFECT,hypothesis is autoimune reaction on medicament???
And I stoped to use Eutirox...Doctor recomanded Armour....more expensive...
and I tried before short time....I felt it similare as Eutirox.
AST 38 U/L. (8-30). Before perfect
ALT. 39. (10-36). Before perfect
AMS. 138. (23-91). Always high,They found before amilaze from saliva high,from pancreas is ok,
and on ultrasound 2 nodles small on saliva glande,told me it is nothing...
FT3. 5 pmol/L (3,1-6,8). Before medicament 4
FT4. 19. (12-22). Before. 11,7
TSH. 1,62 mU/L. (0,27- 4,2). Before. 6,35 ,sometimes higher
Vitamin B12 Kobalamin 719 ng/L (191-663)
Vitamin D 98,8 nmol/L. (>50). ??? Too much of walking and windsurfing???
Na. 136 mmol/L. (137-146) As before
Ca. 2,58. (2,14-2,53). As before
Cholesterol 5,6 mmol/L. (<50). As before
Ferritin is perfect , Before 10-15 yeares was very low,
MCV always on low border line
MCHC is a little under low border,before quite normal
RDW is quite normal,before always a little under low border
ANA before 1:160 titer (<1:10) it is after I used some device from Estetic Medicine Triactive +,
before that was 1:320,
With this device and some others I made higher my low metabolisme,
when I had injury....
And I succeed TO TROW OUT MERCURY FROM MY BODY.
I have a little of Vitiligo,Syndroma Raynaud...
When I used Eutirox few days I had red Circle 5 cm on knee,without pain or rash...
without stress ,usualy I am very fine.
Always weight is normal...

Noted your questions.
Humidity has no direct relation to HAshimotos. However, you should keep the thyroid medicines well poected from light and moisture.
The TSH is good and please continue the same dose.
AST and ALT are just elevated, not too high. Check again after 3 months. Ad if it is showing an increase, do an ultrasound of liver.
Yoiur calcium and vitamin D levels are high. I guess you were usuing Vitamin D in high dose before. Stop the Vitamin D supplements. Please let me know if you were using Vitamn D ??

Usually Hyperthyroidism gets worse in hot and humid conditions. What you have is hypothyroidism ( not hyper). This doesnt change much with hot climate. But you may have some trouble in cold climate.
If you have not consumed Vitamiin D and if it is high and Calcium is high, we need to find the reasond. This is especially important sice you have elevated AST and ALT.
It is better to rule out Sarcoidosis as one of the vaues of high Vitamin D and calcium

except now when I am using Euthyrox...

I used 2 and 1/2 pills of 30 micrograms and
suppose too much unnecessary matter inside
If I take 1/2 pill of 150 micrograms ,
concentration of T4 is high and unnecessary matter is less inside?
2. Some doc told me when I started to raise metabolisme
by sport and devices, Ca before acumulated in tissu and joints
Was starting to go out...
OUR WATER IS FULL OF CA,
Farmers put Ca on fruits when its growing to look fresh,
I am eating at least 1 kg of fruits at day,
Crazy for fruits from ever...
For D- vitamin maybe reason is that i am too much on the sun on windsurfing
Or walking?

With the auto immune disorders what you have, its is important to rule out autoimmune hepatitis if the AST or ALT is elevatted in the future. The present level of elevation is negligible.
2. You may be right. Eating too much calcium may cause high calcium levels. It is better to check a fasting phosphrus and PTH and alkaline phosphatase and a urine calcium levels.
3. Many autoimmune disorders can be effectively controlled with medicines ( may not be able to cure it). Certain autoimmune disorders may get worsened with hot weather. But hashimotos is okay You may do windsurfing and heavy job on hot days.But drink plenty of water
