Brief Answer:
Let me explain

Detailed Answer:
 Hai,
Thanks for consulting us.
zinda tilismath can be used both internal as well as externally as reference by the manufacturer.

Possibility of influencing hiv test by using externally is Less significant.
As internal usage may influence since the product contains good immune modulating drugs like black pepper, cinnamon etc.
but scientifically no evidence.

Zinda Tilismath has got rich medicinal properties. The basic compound of course is Eucalyptus oil and the other ingredients include cinnamon, cloves, mint, loneple, black pepper, cardamom, alum, ferric oxide and omum seeds.

Even though there is no proven studies available for the product against hiv antigen. But they still potent enough against the Tcell activities.

Another drug aswagandha is a famous drug for hiv patient. In XXXXXXX aswagandha leigyam is prescribed for hiv positive patient to improve the immunity.
Hopefully both aswagandha and tilismath may have influence hiv test for higher risk subject.
Both didn't have any detailed scientific research update till date. traditionally they are potentially enough to fight against hiv infection.
continues oral intake may influence the subject.

Hope I answered your query.let me know if there any clarification.

Can zinda tilismath and ashwagandha produce false negative results if tested after 6 months of possible high risk exposure ?

Can zindatilismath and ashwagandha affect / influence the hiv test and it's results by producing false negative results if tested after the 6 month window period ??
I got tested for hiv after the window period and the result was non reactive but I remember taking zinda tilismath sometime that year for a few days a month when I had cold and cough so I just want to know if it can influence/ affect the test results by producing false negative results ????

Can zindatilismath delay the sero-convertion process and affect the antibody production against hiv infection ? If it can delay the sero-convertion how long can it delay after the day of exposure ? Is zindatilismath an immunebooster drug or is it a immunesupressor drug ? Please answers all the questions in detail thank you

Brief Answer:
will clarify your queries.

Detailed Answer:

Can zinda tilismath and ashwagandha produce false negative results if tested after 6 months of possible high risk exposure ?

If you are still not on continuous medication (both the drugs) may show false negative after 6 months of high risk exposure. But it depends on your immune response.we cannot conclude it is because of the drug. (zinda or asaganda).

Can zindatilismath and ashwagandha affect / influence the hiv test and it's results by producing false negative results if tested after the 6 month window period ??

Yes , zindatilismath and ashwagandha influence the hiv test and it's results.
Clinical studies, herbal formulas containing ashwagandha have been shown to improve the symptoms of HIV, including reducing the levels of the virus in the body. Considerable reduction in viral load is reduced.

.I got tested for hiv after the window period and the result was non reactive but I remember taking zinda tilismath sometime that year for a few days a month when I had cold and cough so I just want to know if it can influence/ affect the test results by producing false negative results ????

I understand your problem. Taking zinda tilismath for a acute course may or may not influence the test results. During the course of time your body own immune system may produce antibodies against the infection if it exist. So it shows non-reactive. Even though you exposure for high risk it does not matter.

Can zindatilismath delay the sero-convertion process and affect the antibody production against hiv infection ? If it can delay the sero-convertion how long can it delay after the day of exposure ?

If you are taking the lab investigation during the course of medicine intake. The sero conversion delay may occur.
As active principles of black pepper (Nevirapine) is a potent non-nucleoside inhibitor of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase and is indicated for use in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.

Is zindatilismath an immunebooster drug or is it a immunesupressor drug ?

It is immunebooster drug. Not a suppressor.

Overall, both drugs discussed above got influence against hiv infection and associates. Individual drug in zinda got potent effect on hiv infection. Certain Clinical studies with single or combination drugs showed good results. But microbiological aspects on sero conversion and diagnostic accuracy studies were not established against these drugs.

Hope I clarified your queries.

How long can it delay the seroconvertion? Any specific time period? Does this mean my test results are not conclusive and do I have to get tested again ? If so after how long ? Can it delay the sero conversion upto 1.5 year after the high risk exposure ???

Sir I got tested for hiv 3-4 times after the high risk exposure and all my test results were non - reactive. My high risk exposure was in nov 2013 and got tested in may 2015 and the result came back non reactive again tested in XXXXXXX 2015 result non - reactive again tested in July 2016 and March 2017 all came back negative in between these tests I remember taking zindatilismath for over a month for my severe cold and cough which lasted for a month and reduced. I never took that drug continuously and your answer " may or may not " is affecting my peace of mind. I am unable to concentrate on my daily usual routine so please clarify it sir . Sir immunebooster are supposed to fasten the antibody production and not slow it down righ ??? So how come this drug is affecting the test results and producing false negatives? And isn't black pepper a common household drug a lot of people consume it on a daily basis so does this mean all the test results done by everyone is not conclusive ???

Brief Answer:
Let me explain

Detailed Answer:
As I already said microbiological evaluation on traditional medicines is not explored as of now to answer your sero conversion and delay in showing results, specificity and sensitivity etc.
As your all tests given you non reactive results. So don't get panic about whether these drugs helps in this medical condition.
Since no evidence based research is done about the drugs effect exclusively on hiv infection so quoted as "may or may not"
My answer were favouring the drugs (zinda and aswagandha) possible effect in controlling the hiv infection with some supporting studies done earlier.
Your lab investigations are gold standard .kindly rely on the results. You are not at all at any risk for hiv infection.

Thanks and regards

Sir but you told both the drugs will affect/ influence the tests and its results ? Are there any books or articles where I can find some answers ? Is the black pepper only ingredient of zinda tilismath that affects the tests and results ?? I have taken ashwagandha only for 3 days can that still affect the tests and it's results ?
