Brief Answer:
Yes, can take Regestrone

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal disturbance like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactinemia or polycystic ovarian syndrome.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out.
For inducing periods, she can take Regestrone tablet twice a day for 5 days.
However, exact diagnosis should be made by thyroid, prolactin levels and an ultrasound and further treatment should be taken accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
