Brief Answer:
if not using for life threatening condition, should discontinue

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Altered heart rate, changes in the skin and vomiting are potential side effects of prednisone so it is definitely possible that the symptoms are related to the use of the medication.

If the vomiting is repeated and heart increase significant, then you should consider discontinuing the medication unless you are using it for a life threatening condition eg some persons have to use steroids for conditions of the spine or severe autoimmune disorders.

If you are using it for an allergic reaction that has dampened then it would be safe to stop it or if you are using it for bronchitis or asthma attack and this has resolved, then it can be discontinued.

Once the medication is discontinued , then the effects should stop within 1 to 3 days.

If you cannot reach your doctor then you can try to assess another medical facility or another doctor at the same medical office

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
