Does Plan-B Affect Menstrual Cycle?

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jul 2016
Question: I started my period last Friday. The following Sunday I had unprotected sex. I took Plan B to be safe. I am on Birth control but I missed the last few pills. My period has stopped since taken Plan B. I'm wondering if I should resume my birth control or wait till I get my period again Since my period has stopped midway through its duration. I'm not sure what to do.

You should start taking your birth control pills only once you get the withdrawal bleeding after plan B.
Your periods have stopped because of the hormonal influence of plan B.
