Question: I started taking Lamactogine for bipolar disorder, I'm getting a terrible rash all over my body
What should I do in terms of stopping the medication?

You are currently taking lamotrigine for bipolar and you noticed a rash. you maybe having a significant rash from the medication. You need to stop the medication immediately. There is no need to wean from the medication as the rash indicates you are having either a drug reaction or allergy. I also recommend you take loratidine for any itching. If you develop severe sore throat or develop difficulty breathing then I urge you to seek medical attention immediately as these are signs of severe reaction and could be life threatening
