Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome o HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that you can take Cialis though it may show a tendency for hypertension in 1-3% of cases.

It is necessary to closely monitor your blood pressure when you decide to use Cialis and to discuss with your attending physician, if you use concomitant antihypertensive therapy.

You should know that Cialis may show adverse effects when used concomitantly with certain medications.

In case you have further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,

the blood pressure tablets I take is omesar 20mg. will it be OK with this

Answered by Dr. Ilir Sharka (9 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Reduce or avoid the use of concomitant Omesar.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.

Cialis (Tadalafil) generally increases effects of Omesar (Olmesartan) by pharmacodynamic synergism.

So there exists a potential for interaction. It is necessary to monitor your blood pressure monitor as there is a risk for hypotension.

A rationale approach would be to decrease (or even avoid) the dose of Omesar when programming to use Cialis.

All the judgment will depend on your blood pressure values.

Dr. Iliri

So you would advise not using it?

Answered by Dr. Ilir Sharka (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Just take note of your blood pressure value before deciding.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

If your blood pressure is OK (not high:>140/90 mmHg), you should avoid Omesar intake if you have planned to use Cialis.

Otherwise, if your blood pressure is high you can use a reduced dose of Omesar (for example 5 mg) the day you are going to use Cialis.

Dr. Iliri
