Does Bisoprolol Interact With Ramipril?

default
Posted on Thu, 13 Jul 2017
Question: I have accidentally taken 2 Bisoporol tablets and 2 Ramipril tablets. The Bisoporol was 2.5 mg and the Ramipril was 10 mg. I took the first one at 9..30 a.m. and the second ones at 8.30 pm.

Is there any need for concern?
I have also taken an extra Metformin (500 mg) and an extra Trimethoprim (200 mg)

Brief Answer:
Monitor your blood pressure. Avoid future mistakes!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

There are no immediate consequences for this accident. However, you must always cross check your medications before you take them. IN the interim, monitor your blood pressure closely and report values to me. Also, drink much water to avoid the blood pressure dropping low.

Metformin wouldn't cause low blood sugars below the expected normal range.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow through if need be.
