Does Azithromycin Help Cure Chlamydia?

Question: Tested negative on chlamydia igg but positive on iga, reading was 2.9. Took azithromycin for 9 days. Is it enough? Is this reading serious? When should i get tested for chlamydia again?

Usually I treat my patient with one dose azythromicin 1 gr or doxycicline 2x1 tb for 7 days.
During this time you shouldn't have sexual intercourse and you can test again 1 week after the treatment.
