My questions -
Is this the right procedure
Dont i have to take the same medicine tommorow as well
Will i start bleeding
She mentioned that she will put another medicine on 18th through virgina, is it correct , if so than what would be that medicne.
Till what time i will bleed after abortion

Brief Answer:
You can bleed 7-10 days after abortion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Every doctor has its own experience and method about abortion pills.
I usually prefer first day mifepristone one tablet and on third day mesoprostol 200 mcg twice daily for two days.
Bleeding usually starts after taking mesoprostol and continue for 7-10 days.
Initially pain and bleeding is more than when product comes out it decreases.
Your doctor give mesoprostol tablet vaginally on 18 th.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Mesoprostol is more effective when taken vaginally.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Mesoprostol is more effective when given vaginally because with oral consumption most of the part disintregate through liver and drug become less effective.
You can use low dose birth control pills after abortion to avoid pregnancy after consulting your treating doctor.
You have to take pill every day for 21-28 days( depend upon pack).
There is no single dose pill which will prevent you from pregnancy.
You can see for other methods of contraception to prevent pregnancy.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.
