Question: Hi, recently diagnosed PI subclass deficiency and on Hizentra 2 weeks. Have had excessive mucus in sinuses/throat for last 5 months and have tried everything from nasal pulmicort to apple cider vinegar rinse. Any ideas? Will it get better with the infusions?

Brief Answer:
Yes, these infusions are helpful in this.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Hizentra injections are immunoglobulins.
And they are treatment of choice in immunodeficiency.
Since you are having subclass primarily immunodeficiency (PI), these infusions will definitely help in reducing your symptoms.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
