Child Is Having Hair Loss Problem And Bruise All Over Body. Looking For Effective Treatment
Question: I have a 5 year old hispanic female. She has bruising in multiple odd locations. She bruised herself scratching her arm, the buttons on her jeans made a pressure bruise, she has bruises on bone pressure points as well (her hips and shoulder blades). Her feet turn blue when she stand for and extended period of time. She is also losing her hair.

It is possible that the child has a bleeding tendency.
She needs some blood work up including platelet count.
The presentation that you describe is called easy bruisability and there is a group of blood tests for the same.
